The Maintx mobile app is designed to be used on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. The Maintx mobile app version makes it possible for maintenance personnel to access and interact with the main desktop system on the go, in the field, directly from their mobile devices.
The Maintx mobile app, compared to the Maintx desktop solution, shares essential maintenance management features like maintenance requests, work orders, preventive maintenance, and asset and inventory management. However, the Maintx mobile app deliberately does not include all the maintenance management features that you find in the desktop version.
For example, functionality that is better performed at a desk like customizing reports, detailed admin settings, data extracts, and advanced setting configurations are typically not included. In fact, the Maintx mobile app is a scaled-back version of the Maintx desktop version that is geared toward making it easy to process work on the go. The mobile app is a fully integrated part of the Maintx desktop solution!

Create work requests
In the mobile app you can create fault reports and other types of requests for maintenance and submit directly to the Maintx system.
In the mobile app you can select an asset from a predefined list. Select a description of the problem from a list of issues or write your own. Include images and videos if needed.

Close work orders
In the mobile app you can close work orders and report useful information like worked hours, material, fault causes, and so forth.
Once the work request has been submitted into the Maintx system it can automatically be assigned the right person to either solve the problem or to choose a technician to work on it and complete.
